A highly efficient work cell for welding and cleaning frame can be configured using a Stürtz SMI-VSM-30/25PDS Vertical Four Point Welder and an SMI-CNC-2K-30F Automatic Twin Head CNC Corner Cleaner. Double stack frame welding will provide approximately 450 welded frames per shift. The cleaner cycle time will match this to provide an efficient flow of frames through the work cell.

Stürtz parallel welding and a fully capable programmable cleaning system ensure consistent quality and appearance of the frames. In addition, the machines can be networked together or provided with bar code scanners to improve efficiency and automatically size the cleaner for the next frame in the queue.
