Stürtz provides the ability to set up an efficient semi-automated sash welding and cleaning work cell to produce up to 450 welded and cleaned sash per shift with two operators. The compact SMI-VSM-20/19CDS Vertical Four Point Sash Welder combined with an SMI-CNC-2K-18 is the right solution.

In an ergonomically designed work cell, the welder and cleaner can be arranged to minimize material and operator movement. The welder and cleaner can be in close proximity to allow welded squares to go from welder to cleaner without being placed on the floor. The cleaner cycle time easily keeps up with a double stack weld cycle to help achieve a smooth flow of sash through the work cell.
