The Stürtz Model SMI-4AS-JC Automatic CNC Corner Cleaner offers high speed cleaning of all internal and external surfaces on most standard profiles. Stürtz’ exclusive JetControl technology makes this one of the fastest and easiest to use cleaners on the market.

Standard cleaning tools include upper and lower vertical scarf knives, upper and lower horizontal scarf knives, upper and lower vertical drill units and a programmable saw blade for exterior contour cleaning. In addition, optional tools are available for deep internal pockets, custom bevels and radii. Programming of the unit is done via the PC interface to make adding profiles quick and easy. Standard memory allows for profile recognition of up to 120 different profiles.

The PC interface includes a 17” flat panel monitor. The machine can work via profile recognition or can be networked to a Stürtz welder to provide information regarding profile type, welded size and required cleaning operations automatically. Automatic rotation is also available to eliminate the need for a dedicated operator.
