Vertical Four Point Welder Model SMI-VSM-30/25PDS

The Stürtz Model SMI-VSM-30/25PDS Vertical Four Point Welder is designed to double stack frame or sash profiles. It can also be tooled to weld one casement frame and one casement sash per cycle with the required offset. Weld sizes range from a minimum of 11-1/2” x 11-1/2” to 118” x 98”.

Precision servo controlled axes ensure accurate and consistent sizing. A light curtain safety device is standard on this welder. In addition, parallel welding provides consistent notched welding without compromising the non-welded portion of the sloped sill. This process eliminates the potential for dragging the heat plate across the notched portion of the sill.

The operator interface provides a wealth of diagnostic information and online manuals to facilitate maintenance. The operator is constantly informed of the status of the machine in the welding cycle. Network capability, internal modem and capability for assigning a URL to the machine are all standard in the PC.
